Wednesday 30 November at The Bridge Centre, Birches Head Road, ST2 8DD (12pm - 4:30pm)
Quit 51 and their commissioners would like to invite you to this important forthcoming event, key for Health Professionals & Care Providers to understand how their role impacts on reducing the rate of pregnant smokers locally. This interactive event will provide the latest evidence and key information for all care providers of pregnant women - working in partnership to communicate a clear stop smoking message to reduce the risk of a poor outcome in pregnancy caused by smoking.
Identifying pregnant smokers and spreading the message about the importance of staying smokefree in pregnancy is every care provider’s responsibility. Raising this issue can be a challenge, so we want to give you the knowledge, skills and tools on how best to do this, so you can have meaningful, non-judgmental conversations with pregnant smokers to achieve the most effective intervention.
We would welcome and value a representation from all those who provide care to pregnant women in Stoke-on-Trent. Please share this invite with your colleagues or any other interested care providers who may like to attend.
