CANCELLED: FREE Retirement Readiness Workshop: 2 March @ Hanley Community Fire Station

Saltbox is piloting a new service for anyone aged 50 plus, who has recently retired or is soon facing early retirement, retirement or redundancy and may not have found time to fully plan their future new chapter in life.

The Retirement Transition Initiative (RTI) has been successfully proven in other areas of the UK and following a successful Hanley event in October last year the second event for Stoke on Trent is now planned for the 2nd March 2017. The event is free, food and refreshments are provided and transport support can be made available.

The event may be of particular interest to anyone who has recently retired or is planning to soon and not yet had the opportunity to plan their retirement as they would wish. The day will cover: the future, health, benefits, finance and legal information, powers of attorney, etc.

Spaces are limited and available on a first come first served basis. If this is not applicable for you please pass the information to any of your family, friends and colleagues who may like to take advantage of this opportunity.

If you are part of a group or organisation please forward to anyone you feel could benefit from the support and please feel free to  print and display the poster on your workplace or community notice boards.

For further information, transport support, printed posters or registration assistance please contact Cliff:

Please note that due to circumstances out of our control the planned Retirement Workshop on 2nd March is now postponed.

Please accept my sincere apologies and be assured that as soon as we have a new date lined up we will let you know.

Thank you for your patience.

Cliff Hathaway.
