Consultation: Draft Stoke-on-Trent Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2016-20
Adults Strategic Plan 2016-20 and Children, Young People and Families Plan 2016-20
The draft Health and Wellbeing Strategy; Adults Strategic Plan and Children, Young People and Families Plan 2016-20 are now available for public consultation – we would welcome any comments that you, and/or the people you work with, have on these key documents.
The strategy and plans have been produced by the Stoke-on-Trent Health and Wellbeing Board, the Adult Strategic Partnership Board and the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership Board; they set out the vision and priorities for the next four years.
We continue to be ambitious in our pursuit of better outcomes for children, young people, adults, carers and their families and will be building on the best of what has been achieved to date.
The strategy and plans have been shaped following consideration of national guidance and local needs and are aimed at improving health and wellbeing outcomes for the people of Stoke-on-Trent. The views of young people, adults, carers, families, staff, professionals and the wider community were gathered during a series of stakeholder engagement events and a public consultation that took place during autumn 2015 and have been integral to the development of the strategy and plans.
The final strategy and plans are scheduled to be published in April 2016, so you are warmly encouraged to comment on the drafts via our short online questionnaire.
We have also produced a guide about the consultation for staff and other professionals to use to gather the views of the people they work with.
