AGE-FRIENDLY STOKE-ON-TRENT COMMITMENTS PROGRAMME

We are working together to make our city

‘A great place to grow older’

It is estimated that by 2030, people over the age of 65 will make a positive net contribution to the economy of around £77 billion.

The Beth Johnson Foundation is one of a network of organisations committed to making Stoke a ‘great place to grow older’.  We are supporting Stoke on Trent City Council in its action plan to achieve Age Friendly City (AFC) status along the principles of healthy, happy, active ageing.

Find out how:

·         Your business can make the most of the ‘grey pound’

·         To make your business more age friendly

·         To develop your own age friendly action plan

and receive a certificate to display and show that you are an age friendly business

Free half day sessions to assist your business in the process of becoming more age- friendly are available at our Hartshill office as follows:

5 January 2016        9.30am – 1.00pm or 1.30pm – 5.00pm
