Have you heard about Furniture Mine?

Furniture Mine is a furniture re-use charity that helps families in need set up home through referrals from local authorities and housing providers and low cost second hand furniture for sale.

The charity is currently struggling to meet demand for bedroom furniture, including beds, mattresses, wardrobes and drawers and always has demand for sofas and suites. If you have any of these items that you no longer need, that are in a reusable condition and you live in North Staffordshire please contact Furniture Mine to request a free collection.

Furniture Mine also sells second hand furniture to the public at a low cost, we are open to everyone, and customers are welcome to come in and browse at our show rooms in Hanley and Newcastle.

We are always looking for volunteers to help in many areas, if you have some time to spare and would like to help out please get in touch. We have vacancies across sales in the showroom/shop, administration, warehousing and driving.

Visit us online to see how we work with leading companies in Stoke-On-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme to offer volunteering opportunities, apprenticeships and further training for our staff. @ www.furnituremine.org.uk
