Loved, Called, Gifted - by Sean Kennedy & Catherine Cowell
The book was released officially on the 1st October 2015. It is the second of a pair (the first being 'Church Uncorked' which came out in May), looking at releasing people's potential.
Loved, Called, Gifted takes the reader on a journey, answering the question, "Who am I and what do I want to do with my life?" It is, in the words of one of our reviewers, "not a standard self-development book or a standard discipleship text, but a fantastic amalgamation of the two."
This is a practical book, that serves as a guide suitable for individuals, church leaders, life coaches and spiritual directors. Divided into four mains parts, it helps the reader understand their life journey, unlock their unique potential, discover and overcome the things that hold them back and find a positive way forward.
Its sister volume, Church Uncorked, answers the question, "How can we lead in a way that releases the potential so often constrained by traditional leadership structures?" It is an engaging, thought provoking and sometimes humorous look at how church works now and what we might like to do differently.
Both books have been incredibly well received by reviewers and, in the case of Church Uncorked, also by people who've read it because they've bought and not just because we asked them to.
Below are some of the things they've said.
Church Uncorked is already on general release and available from Amazon and discerning Christian bookshops. Loved, Called, Gifted will be available from Amazon from October.
If you would like either book, please contact Catherine on email@example.com . The books are £10 each (RRP £12.99) and postage and packing to anywhere in the UK will be free. Postage and packing at cost price to anywhere else.
What reviewers say about Loved, Called, Gifted:
‘It does what it says on the tin! The title says it all …’
Bishop Michael Whinney, Honorary Assistant Bishop, Birmingham Diocese
‘A brilliant, well-researched and tantalising piece of work. This is not thinking outside the
box; this is a redefining of what the box was believed to be and an exhortation to climb
out. This book will change lives.’
Andy Kind, Author and Comedian, www.andykind.co.uk
‘Easy to read, accessible, personable, not intimidating, great quotes, well organised, well
explained. I wish I had had this book when I first became a Christian. It would have made
a big difference to my journey.’
Rev John Alessi, Vicar of St Pauls, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent
‘This is a great way to assist people in finding their calling ... The material is presented in
a user-friendly way and is provided by clearly knowledgeable and passionate writers.’
