FREE PRE- RETIREMENT WORKSHOP 17th OCTOBER HANLEY FIRE STATION
The thought of retirement can put fear into the best of us – like many other life transitions – it can be a challenging time, involving difficult lifestyle changes and choices. This is often compounded by issues such as financial provision, a loss of status, ill health, starting to care for family, and even bereavement.
Our programme, the Retirement Transition Initiative, will equip you with the information, resilience and opportunities needed in order to move purposefully into later-life. It aims to help you manage your finances better, improve your health, and your wellbeing.
You will have the opportunity to build new friendships, while learning about the challenges of later life and exploring how you can use your skills to remain positive, active and connected with family, friends and community.
Join us on Monday 17th October at Hanley Community Fire Station, Lower Bethesda St, Hanley Stoke on Trent ST1 3RP. Please see the attached event poster.
