'Sorry, no Trick or Treat' Campaign

Saltbox started the 'Sorry, no Trick or Treat' campaign in 1994 with support form schools and police in order to remove the growing fear and menace of the traditional Hallowe'en practice. Over the years, this annual campaign has gained support from concerned community groups, church leaders from various denominations and primary schools - recognizing the danger of unsupervised children going out into the streets late at night.

If you know anyone who is vulnerable or nervous at this time of year, please print off this poster and help them display it outside their home. The aim of this community campaign is to protect older people, unsupervised children and reduce 'trick or treat' vandalism. Dear Saltbox. Thank you for all you do in the city. Thank you for your faithfulness to your call. We pray God will keep increasing your influence in society.
