Think Before You Drink: December Campaign From S-o-T Council

THINK BEFORE YOU DRINK!

How will your night out end - Ambulance, A&E, Police cell?  The Think Before you Drink campaign running during December in Stoke-on-Trent, encourages you to know your alcohol limits and stay safe.

Guidelines for both men and women is that to keep health risks from alcohol to a low level it is safest not to drink more than 14 units a week on a regular basis.  To see what this looks like visit www.stoke.gov.uk/thinkbeforeyoudrink It’s important not to save up your units for a ‘good night out’, but to spread them over three or more days.

Don’t get caught out by glass sizes – a small glass of wine (125ml glass) is around one and a half units of alcohol, and a standard pint of larger/ale is just over 2 units.

For tips and advice on how to stay within your limits visit www.stoke.gov.uk/thinkbeforeyoudrink or follow the campaign on social media using #thinkb4drink
