Capacity Building

Increasingly, the Saltbox is asked for help and advice by faith groups. Individuals and groups are often looking to be signposted to means of support and practical assistance.  Capacity building sometimes means informing about funding sources, highlighting training opportunities or directing towards examples of good practice.

The contribution of faith groups to community cohesion now has much wider appreciation and has received acknowledgement from Government nationally, regionally and locally.  Because of this, the Saltbox is now often asked to network with faith groups either by other organisations within the voluntary and community sector or by the statutory sector.  With over twenty five years experience of working on behalf of faith groups, the Saltbox has an impressive track record of knowledge, engagement and support.

The Saltbox is able to direct faith groups to new Government initiatives which might provide development opportunities.
