In 2007, the Saltbox organised the re-launch of the Data Link scheme as part of its support of work with elderly people.
This project is a voluntary scheme for anyone living at home who might be reassured to know that essential information is readily available to the Emergency Services should they suffer an accident or sudden illness in their home.
The scheme ensures that vital information is available not only to identify the person but also to advise of relevant illnesses, allergies, medication & contact addresses.
Data Link is sponsored by Staffs Neighbourhood Watch, Stoke-on-Trent Local Strategic Partnership & the Sentinel. Packs are available throughout North Staffs via doctors’ surgeries, health centres, churches, etc. The aim of the scheme is provide 20,000 packs locally.
For further information about Data Link or details of a local pack distribution venue please contact the Saltbox.
