24-7 Prayer Rota
PENTECOST 2008 40 days of prayer and fasting (Prayer Rota download)
The Saltbox & the 2C7 prayer network is supporting the organising of a number of months of unbroken 24-7 prayer. In ‘02, ‘03 & ‘04 a week of unbroken 24-7 prayer was successfully organised each year. Since 2005, whole months of unbroken 24-7 prayer have been organised on four separate occasions.
Individual churches support this initiative by providing a room for 24 hour prayer cover. General themes include:
- Harvest – for increasing numbers of people to come to faith in Christ.
- Healing – for a release of God’s healing power on people, families, congregations & the land
- Glory – for a deeper experience of God in day-to-day city life.
Sector focussed prayer has included: improvements in business, education, health, law, media & arts, politics, etc. 
PENTECOST 2008: the next 24-7 prayer rota will cover a 40 day ‘pray & fast’ period from the 1 April through to 10 May (the eve of Pentecost Sunday).On this occasion, one of the special prayer focuses will be for God’s blessing on London, our capital.
