24-7 Prayer Rota

The Saltbox supports the organising of a number of months of unbroken 24-7 prayer. In ‘02, ‘03 & ‘04 a week of unbroken 24-7 prayer was successfully organised each year. Since 2005, whole months of unbroken 24-7 prayer have been organised on four separate occasions.

Individual churches support this initiative by providing a room for 24 hour prayer cover. General themes include:

• Harvest – for increasing numbers of people to come to faith in Christ.
• Healing – for a release of God’s healing power on people, families, congregations & the land
• Glory – for a deeper experience of God in day-to-day city life.

Sector focussed prayer has included: improvements in business, education, health, law, media & arts, politics, etc.

Further opportunities are being prayerfully considered.
