Samaritan Ministries

One of the outcomes of the regular 2C7 prayer focus has been a concern to help those in need in the community. As a result, numbers of local Christians have begun to reach out and care for those less fortunate than themselves.

The resultant caring ministries have become known as ‘Samaritan Ministries’. Some of these ministries are focused on particular congregations while others involve Christians from several different churches.

Outreach work takes place locally involving prostitutes, asylum seekers, homeless, victims of domestic violence, pregnancy counselling, etc.

Much of this work is linked to the Saltbox’s Reach project.
